Luxembourg-headquartered Alter Domus has set up a joint venture with Mauritius based Altima Group.
The office, which opened in February, will provide corporate management and fund administration services to multinational corporations and alternative investment funds.

Victor Seeyave, managing director of the Mauritius office, said: "Mauritius is gaining increasing prominence as an ideal platform for investment in Africa, the Middle East and Asia."
Alter Domus already has offices in Guernsey, Jersey, the Netherlands, Hungary and Hong Kong as well as Luxembourg.
The company offers administration services to hedge funds, private equity, real estate and other alternative investment vehicles. It also advises companies, including private equity, on set-up and management.
