Discussion on a wide range of topics covering the US Obama proposals for banking reform among other issues were covered during the February 15 edition of the N@ked Short Club.

Other topics discussed during the one-hour programme included a Tobin or Robin Hood tax, political and regulatory developments and impacts, Ucits III and managed accounts, service provider consolidation and operational risk as well as the top 50 women in hedge funds.

Guest for the programme, hosted by Dr Stu, included David Aldrich, BNY Mellon; John Godden, IGS; Robert Mirsky of Laven Partners; Tushar Patel from HFIM and Sarah Dudney author of “The Seven Deadly Sins”.

Musical selections included the Orb, Jimi Hendrix, Hawkwind, Montrose, Gong, Tangerine Dream and King Crimson.

The next broadcast on February 22 will feature guest Stephen Oxley, managing director of Paamco; Rob Picard, CEO of Boxtree and senior advisor at Navigant Capital; Chris Keen, partner at Culross; Ian Frasera, a partner at K&L Gates and journalist David Walker plus Amanda ‘Alpha’ Baker.
