First Coverage, a provider of North American alpha-capture content, has formed a strategic alliance with Integrity Research Associates, an information and solutions provider specialising in the investment research industry.

Under the deal Integrity Research will help First Coverage expand its coverage of alternative research providers.

First Coverage, established by the founders of First Call and StreetEvents, provides a web-based alpha capture system that aggregates high-conviction sell-side research, mainstream news and blogs, filtering out noise to ensure important information is not overlooked and connecting global money managers, hedge funds and pension plans with the people and data that could add value to the investment process.

It also provides industry and sector level sentiment ratings based on real-time data flowing through its platform.

Integrity Research Associates helps institutional investor clients find new research providers and monitor existing ones.
