The latest appointments within hedge funds and fund of hedge funds as well as related service industries.

FinAnalytica has announced two appointments at board level and the promotion to president of Boryana Racheva-Iotova. Andrew Huddart has been appointed as chairman. He is currently general manager of the human capital franchise at Corporate Executive Board. David Merrill joins FinAnalytica as CEO. Previously he worked at NYFIX where he was managing director, head of sales and client operations.

3i Infotech - Framework has appointed Sanjay Tolani as business development director, Graham Fisher as Operations director and Ian McKillop as pre-sales consultant.

Citi has appointed Marion Mulvey as the head of alternative investment administration services for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Gavan McGuire as the director of alternative investment services sales for EMEA in its global transaction services business.With over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry, 11 of which with Citi, Mulvey has held a variety of management positions. Prior to joining Citi, McGuire was chief financial officer for Agilo, a distressed debt hedge fund.

Exotix, a frontier market broker and investment banking boutique, has recruited Vikas Nath as its chief executive. He joins from North of South Capital, a London and Hong Kong-based hedge fund which he co-founded in 2004.

ETF Securities has appointed Mark Weeks as chief executive of the ETF Exchange. He joins from UBS where he ran the securities lending franchise in Zurich.

Investment director John Bennett has decided to leave GAM at the end of 2009. He has been offered a senior role at Gartmore Asset Management taking over the retail long only European assets currently run by Roger Guy and Guillaume Rambourg.

Hermitage has named William Campbell as chairman of FNB Corporation. He succeeds Stephen Gurgovits who serves as president and CEO of FNB and its largest affiliate, First National Bank of Pennsylvania. Campbell was previously lead director for FNB. In a separate move Hermitage also announced the promotion of Vincent Calabrese to chief financial officer of FNB.

Multi-manager boutique Hasley Investment Management has appointed investment academic Professor Steve Thomas of the Cass Business School to its investment committee.

Auriel Capital has appointed Adam Seitchik as a managing director to develop tailored environmental, social and governance investment strategies for institutional investors in Europe and North America. Previously he was chief investment officer at Trillium Asset Management.

Investment boutique Newscape Capital Group has hired Derek Fulton, an ex- head of global closed end fixed income portfolios at Aberdeen Asset Management as a board director and chief investment officer with overall responsibility for asset allocation, strategy selection, portfolio construction and portfolio management.

Having filled the role in an interim capacity since September 2008, Elizabeth Elkins has been named general manager of Financial Control Solutions. Andrew Thompson has been appointed vice president for global sales and relationship management, reporting to Elkins. Also joining is Roy Williamson who will serve as sales director for the UK, Middle East and Africa regions, reporting to Elkins.

Pelham Hawker has been appointed chairman of the board of directors of Metalysis, a technology innovator for the speciality metals industry. Hawker is also a main board executive director of FTSE 100 speciality chemicals company Johnson Matthey.

Collins Stewart, an independent financial advisory group, has hired Todd Hagerman as managing director, regional banks to manage equity research in this sector as a senior analyst. He will work with William Tanona, who recently joined in June as managing director and senior analyst to head the company's newly formed US banks team. Hagerman will be based in New York.

The UK Financial Services Authority has appointed Ken Hogg, currently interim chief financial officer at MGM Assurance, as insurance sector director. He will report to Jon Pain, FSA managing director retail markets.

DST Global Solutions, a provider of business solutions and services, has appointed Nancy Schneier as sales executive. Previously she ran the North American operations for Kurtosys Systems.

Liontrust Asset Management has announced that Ross Hollyman will be joining the company from GAM in 2010 as an investment director. He will be responsible for UK and European equity long only and long/short portfolios and will head a team of four specialists

GlobeOp Financial Services has appointed Stuart Turnbull as senior advisor to risk services. He reports to Tony Glickman, global head of risk services and will initially focus on aligning risk analytics for bank loans with those of credit default swaps and corporate bonds.

Bryan Bailey, a retired annuitant currently employed as a portfolio manager at Calstrs (California State teachers retirement system), will join Advanced Capital as senior advisor for the AC Real Estate Global Opportunity Fund. Previously he was with CalPERS from 1987 to 2005.

Capital Market Risk Advisors has appointed Peter Niculescu as a partner and head of fixed income. Before joining he was responsible for portfolio investments and funding at Fannie Mae as executive vice president and head of capital markets.

MFC Global Investment Management has announced the appointment of Jean-Francois Courville as CEO. He will oversee asset allocation and investment management activities for approximately C$96 billion (at March 31, 2009) in client assets across multiple asset classes, from public equities and fixed-income to alternatives including timber and agricultural investments.

MKM Partners has appointed Brian Cumberland as managing director of research sales. As a member of the operating committee, he will work to develop and expand the company's institutional research and trading products.

Conifer Securities has appointed Yann Lalande as director, managed accounts in the company's business development division. He will also work to grow Conifer's prime brokerage business.

Fiserv has appointed Tim Berrada as the business development director of investment services for the Asia-Pacific region based in Singapore.
